Tort Claims Trimmed In Conrail Track-Crossing Suit

Law360, New York (October 26, 2009, 6:26 PM EDT) -- Leaving a ruling on the case's fundamental issues for another day, a judge has agreed to dismiss claims of statutory conversion, unjust enrichment and trespass alleged by Grand Trunk Western Railroad Co. in a dispute with Consolidated Rail Corp. over an 1897 contract and whether it allows Conrail trains to cross Grand Trunk's tracks.
