Ex-Exec Charges Anheuser-Busch With Sex Bias

Law360, New York (October 27, 2009, 5:49 PM EDT) -- The former highest-ranking female executive at Anheuser-Busch Inc. has sued the company under the Missouri Human Rights Act, claiming the brewer pays women less than men and fosters a corporate culture adverse to female employees.

Francine I. Katz, former vice president of communications and consumer affairs for the company, sued Anheuser-Busch on Monday in Missouri Circuit Court for the Twenty-Second Judicial Circuit.

Katz said in a statement that the decision to pursue the claim was not an easy one.
