Woodcock Predicts Rapid Growth In Cleantech Patents

Law360, New York (October 27, 2009, 5:48 PM EDT) -- The next three years will see a rise in new patents in so-called clean technology fields such as wind, solar, biofuel, hybrid-electric and fuel cell technology, according to a newly released report from Woodcock Washburn LLP.

Woodcock's 2009 Cleantech Patent Forecast, released Tuesday, used a proprietary algorithm to analyze past and current patent trends in order to predict future trends in cleantech patents, the firm said.
