Citgo Urges Delay In Trial Over 2006 La. Oil Spill

Law360, New York (October 28, 2009, 3:24 PM EDT) -- Citgo Petroleum Corp. has asked a federal judge to postpone the trial in a suit brought against it by eight companies shut down by a 2006 oil spill, claiming that many of the plaintiffs' records and electronic files were destroyed by hurricanes and that discovery will demand out-of-state third-party subpoenas.
