Jury Awards Mother $15M In Medical Negligence Case

Law360 (November 7, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a blow to a Minnesota hospital system, a woman whose son was born with cerebral palsy has been awarded more than $15 million after a jury found that doctors and staff failed to react to signs that the mother and her baby were in distress during the 2001 birth.
