Exec Pleads Guilty In Concrete Price-Fixing Conspiracy

Law360, New York (November 7, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Paving the way for an end to an Indianapolis-based conspiracy to fix prices in the market for ready-mix concrete, one of the last company executives accused in the conspiracy has pled guilty to price-fixing.

John J. Blatzheim, the executive vice president of Builder’s Concrete and Supply Co. acknowledged on Friday that he had joined the Indiana-based conspiracy in April 2003. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb 9.
