China Slams Carbon Tariff Proposals

Law360, New York (October 30, 2009, 1:14 PM EDT) -- A Chinese representative to the World Trade Organization told reporters that plans to penalize imports from countries with lax carbon dioxide emission standards, currently on the table in both the European Union and U.S., would result in unworkable and unfair global trade restrictions.
