Broker Sued Again Over Stanford Investments

Law360, New York (November 4, 2009, 12:26 PM EST) -- An Atlanta-based securities broker has been sued by two more clients who lost millions after he steered them toward Stanford International Bank Ltd., the firm at the center of Robert Allen Stanford’s alleged $8 billion Ponzi scheme.

On Tuesday, Chris and Mark Shapley followed other investors’ example and filed suit against Robert David Haggard in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, claiming the broker’s negligence caused their losses.
