Lawyers Seek Class Certification For Costco Workers

Law360 (November 9, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Attorneys in a gender discimination lawsuit brought against Costco Wholesale Corp. are seeking to add 700 female workers as plaintiffs in the suit.

In the motion to certify a class, plaintiffs’ attorneys sought to expand the lawsuit to represent all women employed at Costco’s U.S. retail facilities dating back to December 28, 2001, who were allegedly subjected to policies that deny women promotion to management positions.
