Lincoln Seeks More Royalties Over Benefits Method

Law360, New York (November 5, 2009, 3:38 PM EST) -- Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. is fighting back against a bid by Transamerica Life Insurance Co. for relief and modification of the permanent injunction handed down this summer in a patent infringement case over a computerized method for providing retirement income benefits.

On Wednesday, Lincoln filed a motion of opposition to Transamerica's request in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa.
