Va. High Court Upholds Transmission Line Permits

Law360, New York (November 5, 2009, 3:46 PM EST) -- The Virginia Supreme Court has rejected protests from environmental groups and others by greenlighting a 550-kilovolt multistate transmission line that would bring power to the suburban communities of Washington, affirming that the line is needed to meet federal reliability standards.
