Title Insurers' Contract Battle Tossed Over Jurisdiction

Law360, New York (November 6, 2009, 1:00 PM EST) -- Ruling that Old Republic National Title Insurance Co. failed to establish diversity jurisdiction in its suit accusing Bell Title Co. of breaching a policy issuance agreement, a federal judge has dismissed the case with leave to amend by Dec. 2.
