Minn. Bridge Collapse Victims, Contractor Reach Deal

Law360, New York (November 6, 2009, 4:23 PM EST) -- Victims of a deadly bridge collapse in Minneapolis in 2007 have come to terms with the contracting company working on the bridge when it fell.

According to Schwebel Goetz & Sieben PA, the firm representing some of the victims, about 140 plaintiffs have reached a confidential settlement with Progressive Contractors Inc. Progressive was resurfacing the Interstate 35W Bridge when it crumbled in Aug. 1, 2007, killing 13 and injuring 145.
