DuPont Fights On Over $2M Pipeline Mistake

Law360, New York (November 9, 2009, 6:54 PM EST) -- A federal judge has given the green light to the majority of DuPont Co.'s claims against Mechanical Integrity Inc. in a contract dispute over an allegedly faulty inspection of a pipeline that eventually cost DuPont $2 million to repair.

On Monday, Chief Judge John Heyburn II of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky sided in part with DuPont, tossing out most claims brought by DuPont against subcontractor NDT Equipment Services and employee Mike Walker while rejecting NDT's and Walker's moves for summary...
