Video Co. Takes Fight Over Lennon Tapes To 1st Circ.

Law360, New York (November 10, 2009, 4:10 PM EST) -- World Wide Video LLC has appealed a federal judge's ruling that John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono is the rightful owner of stolen videos she purchased — valued as high as $6 million — that show the rock legend and his family in 1970.

The Lawrence, Mass.-based video company filed a notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, following Judge Rya W. Zobel's June ruling that its copyright claims...
