Judge Won't Toss Migrating Gas Spat In Kansas

Law360, New York (November 10, 2009, 4:07 PM EST) -- A Kansas federal court has denied dismissal bids from several energy companies in a spat over the ownership rights to migrating gas, rejecting arguments that claims from Northern Natural Gas Co. constituted claim-splitting and were barred under the doctrine of res judicata.
