Supreme Court Pressed To Take On IPO Case

Law360 (November 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Solicitor General has stepped into the initial public offering fray, urging the Supreme Court to tackle and provide some “clarity” on a case that could have broad implications for the division between securities and antitrust laws.

On Thursday, Solicitor General Paul Clement submitted an amicus brief pushing the High Court to grant writ of certiorari to the petitioners, a group of big-name Wall Street firms.
