Law360, New York (November 12, 2009, 2:38 PM EST) -- A month after a federal judge's order that Energen Resources Corp. hand over $2.5 million to Chevron USA Inc., the power duo have agreed to put an end to their battle over who should cover the legal fees Chevron racked up while unsuccessfully fighting a 2005 contamination lawsuit.
On Wednesday, Energen and Chevron filed a joint motion for dismissal of main demand, with reservation of rights, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana.
