Fintech Biz Secures $95M In Bain Capital Ventures-Led Round
Law360 (December 17, 2020, 8:12 PM EST) -- Recurring payments platform GoCardless, working with Gunderson Dettmer, said Thursday that it landed $95 million in its latest funding round led by Bain Capital Ventures as online payments have benefited from a flood of investor interest amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
GoCardless Ltd. said in a news release that the money it collected through its Series F financing would fund the improvement of its open baking strategy — through which the platform can access financial data from banks and other financial institutions — and its expansion into the e-commerce market. The United Kingdom-headquartered business added that it has now raised $240 million to-date....
