US, China 'Disappoint The World' On Emissions: EU

Law360, New York (November 17, 2009, 4:29 PM EST) -- The leader of the European Parliament's delegation to the Copenhagen climate conference has accused the United States and China of disappointing the world by so far refusing to commit to concrete reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.

Jo Leinen, the chair of the EP's Environment Committee who will lead the legislature's 15-member delegation to the December climate talks, made his comments late Monday during President Barack Obama's trip to China.
