Gaz de France, Suez Join Hands After E.C. Blessing

Law360, New York (November 14, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Bringing an end to months of debate over antitrust concerns, European competition regulators have given the green light to energy company Suez SA’s controversial merger with Gaz de France SA on the condition that the combined company divests two units and cede control of a third.
