CPSC Reveals Recall Of Salomon Ski Bindings

Law360, New York (November 20, 2009, 5:18 PM EST) -- Salomon USA has voluntarily recalled thousands of Alpine Ski bindings in the wake of a pair of accidents in which the bindings suddenly failed, causing the ski boot to unexpectedly dislodge and the skier to be injured.

On Thursday, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission revealed that Salomon called back about 10,000 ski bindings, pointing to a defective toe component as reason for the concern.
