P&G Recalls Nasal Spray Over Bacteria Risk

Law360, New York (November 20, 2009, 1:45 PM EST) -- Procter & Gamble Co. has recalled 120,000 bottle of Vicks Sinex nasal spray due to possible bacterial contamination.

The company announced Thursday that it had found the bacteria B. cepacia in a small amount of product made at its plant in Gross Gerau, Germany.

The possibly affected lots of the spray were sold only in the U.S., the U.K. and Germany, P&G said, adding that it had not received any reports of illness.
