US To Propose Emissions Target At Copenhagen

Law360, New York (November 23, 2009, 5:33 PM EST) -- The United States will reportedly propose an emissions reduction target at the United Nations' Copenhagen climate conference in December, although it remains unclear exactly what that target will be.

A senior Obama administration official told Reuters and other news publications on Monday that the president would make a meaningful submission even though Congress had not yet passed domestic cap-and-trade legislation.
