EBay Fined €1.7M Over LVMH Sales

Law360, New York (November 30, 2009, 2:02 PM EST) -- A French court has hit eBay Inc. with a €1.7 million ($2.6 million) penalty for allegedly failing to comply with an injunction stemming from a spat with LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA over the sale of certain luxury goods on the online auction company's Web site.
