Contract Claims V. Mayo Nixed In Alzheimer's IP Spat

Law360, New York (November 30, 2009, 4:55 PM EST) -- A federal judge has dismissed two breach of licensing agreement claims brought by Alzheimer's Institute of America Inc. against the Mayo Clinic and Myriad Pharmaceuticals Inc., in a dispute over two patents related to the discovery of a gene mutation that is a contributing factor to Alzheimer's disease.
