Inphi Sues Netlist Over Memory Interface Patents

Law360, New York (December 1, 2009, 4:44 PM EST) -- Semiconductor company Inphi Corp. has lodged a patent lawsuit against Netlist Inc., accusing it of infringing on two patents related to memory interface technologies.

The lawsuit, which Inphi on Monday said it had filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, says that Netlist's DDR3 Registered memory modules, including the recently released HyperCloud, infringe on Inphi's patents.

The patents-in-suit, U.S. Patent Nos. 7,307,863 and 7,479,799, relate to memory interface technologies used in enterprise server and storage applications, Inphi said.
