Broadcom Purchases Dune Networks For $178M

Law360, New York (December 1, 2009, 12:54 PM EST) -- Semiconductor maker Broadcom Corp. has inked a deal to acquire the privately held Dune Networks in an arrangement valued at $178 million.

Under the terms of the deal, Broadcom said it expects to pay mostly in cash, and will take on all outstanding shares of capital stock and other rights of Dune Networks. A portion of that purchase price connected to unvested employee stock options will be paid in Broadcom restricted stock units.
