Law Firms Likely To Hike Billing Rates In 2010: Survey

Law360, New York (December 1, 2009, 3:38 PM EST) -- Law firms are likely to raise average billing rates by about 3.2 percent in 2010 despite pressure from clients to continue at past or discounted rates, a new survey reports.

The survey, released Tuesday by legal consulting firm Altman Weil Inc., analyzes responses from 288 law firms, including 45 percent of the 250 largest U.S. firms.
