Gene Codes Sues Ex-Worker Over Defection To Rival

Law360, New York (December 2, 2009, 6:21 PM EST) -- Bioinformatics software maker Gene Codes Corp. has sued a former employee who left for a purported competitor, alleging breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets.

Gene Codes filed suit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, alleging Naomi Thomson tried to take valuable company knowledge with her when she accepted a job with CLC Bio.
