5th Circ. Reverses Katrina Damage Insurance Award

Law360, New York (December 2, 2009, 1:49 PM EST) -- In a win for American Bankers Insurance Co. of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit has reversed a district court decision, finding that the lower court improperly considered inadmissible evidence in siding with a Louisiana couple whose mobile home was damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
