Cox Says SOX Updates On The Horizon

Law360 (November 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s chairman said Thursday that “significant changes” are on the horizon in the way the Commission implements internal-audit regulations under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

In a the keynote address to the International Organization of Securities Commissioners at the Technical Committee Conference in London, SEC Chairman Christopher Cox hinted that stringent updates to SOX rules will be announced in the next few weeks.
