Symantec, Aladdin Settle Lawsuit Over Anti-Virus Patent

Law360 (April 28, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rival software makers Symantec and Aladdin Knowledge Systems have settled a lawsuit over a patent for an anti-virus system.

As part of the agreement, Aladdin obtained a license under this patent from Symantec for Aladdin's integrated content security products.

The two companies refused to offer further details, such as the size of royalties, but said the agreement resolves all pending litigation between the two companies
