Senate Bill Aims To Extend Wind Energy Tax Credit

Law360, New York (December 4, 2009, 4:56 PM EST) -- Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, has introduced legislation to extend through 2016 tax credits for the production of electricity from renewable energy sources including wind and open-loop biomass facilities.

He introduced the Clean Renewable Energy Advancement Tax Extension Jobs Act of 2009 on the day of a White House jobs summit, saying any legislation to boost jobs should include the credits.
