Former SEC Deputy Returns To Gibson Dunn

Law360, New York (December 7, 2009, 7:53 PM EST) -- After a three-year run with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, veteran trial lawyer George Curtis has rejoined Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP in the securities enforcement group.

Curtis will split his time between Gibson Dunn's offices in the District of Columbia and Denver, where he previously acted as partner-in-charge before leaving the firm in 2006 to serve as regional director of the SEC's Central Regional Office. He was promoted to deputy director of enforcement at the commission in 2008.
