South Korean Steelmakers Dumped Pipe In US: ITA

Law360, New York (December 8, 2009, 2:40 PM EST) -- Several South Korean steelmakers face possible duties on circular welded nonalloy steel pipe and tube following a preliminary finding by the International Trade Administration that the companies dumped the products in the U.S. market.

South Korean steel company SeAH Steel Corp. sold the steel pipe in the U.S. for less than normal value, the ITA said in a notice published in the Federal Register on Tuesday. The agency assessed a dumping margin of 4.42 percent for SeAH steel pipe, covering a period of review from Nov....
