St. Paul Loses Bid For Docs In Injury Coverage Spat

Law360, New York (December 8, 2009, 5:50 PM EST) -- A federal judge has struck down St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Co.’s bid to compel Houston Casualty Co. to produce documents and information in the insurers’ injury coverage dispute, rejecting St. Paul’s claim that Houston Casualty’s responses to its interrogatories were insufficient.

U.S. District Judge Cameron McGowan Currie of the District of South Carolina on Tuesday denied St. Paul’s motion to compel discovery without prejudice to refiling after the conclusion of negotiations between counsel and a teleconference with the court.
