Punitive Damages Still On Table In GM Rice Case

Law360, New York (December 9, 2009, 7:26 PM EST) -- A federal judge presiding over the genetically modified rice multidistrict litigation has left punitive damages on the table in the second bellwether trial, saying Bayer CropScience AG knew that failing to stop GM seed from contaminating conventional rice could grow into a problem.
