Gardere Revamps Associate Pay, Training Model

Law360, New York (December 10, 2009, 5:53 PM EST) -- Texas-based Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP announced Thursday that it has rolled out a new professional development program and compensation system for first-year associates that includes lowered hourly billing rates and a reduced starting salary.

The revised associate model will apply to the 10 incoming first-year associates set to begin work at the firm on Jan. 5, as well as those who joined the firm earlier this fall.
