FTC On Track To Get $33M Boost To Budget

Law360, New York (December 10, 2009, 5:14 PM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission is poised to receive a $33 million boost to its budget in 2010, if the U.S. Senate signs off on a massive spending package as expected.

The House on Thursday approved a $447 billion spending package that included six different appropriations bills, including the financial services and general government appropriations bill, under which the FTC would receive $292 million, a $33 million increase from the agency's 2009 budget and $4.5 million above its requested amount.
