10th Circ. Chief Judge To Return To Academia

Law360, New York (December 11, 2009, 4:11 PM EST) -- The chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit has said he will leave his lifetime post to head Oklahoma City University, where he previously served as dean of the university's School of Law.

Judge Robert H. Henry on Thursday announced his decision to accept the offer from the school's board of trustees to become its 17th president and CEO. The news took some courthouse colleagues and friends by surprise, according to news reports.
