Home Depot Light Fixture Suits Stayed For Deal Talks

Law360, New York (December 12, 2009, 12:33 PM EST) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade has granted a joint motion by the U.S. and home improvement retailer Home Depot USA Inc. to stay 38 cases over the classification of light fixture imports as the parties try to reach a settlement.

Judge George W. Carman granted the motion Friday, staying the cases until June 6, 2010, at which time the parties will need to file another joint status report if the case remains pending.
