Debut IP Exchange Taps Carbon Market Guru As CEO

Law360, New York (December 15, 2009, 4:59 PM EST) -- The first-ever financial exchange to market patent licenses — slated to start trading in early 2010 — has named Gerard J. Pannekoek, who recently headed the Chicago Climate Exchange, as its CEO.

The Intellectual Property Exchange International announced Monday that Pannekoek, formerly CCX's chief operating officer and president, had been selected as the president and CEO of the exchange's parent company, IPXI Holdings LLC.
