Rubber Glove Patent ITC Claims Invalid: Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (December 15, 2009, 5:48 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed the U.S. International Trade Commission's finding that infringement claims made by Tillotson Healthcare Corp. are invalid, marking a defeat for the Orangeburg, N.Y.-based medical rubber glove maker that sued dozens of rivals.

Monday's one-word ruling in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed Administrative Law Judge Theodore Essex's December 2008 ruling against the glove maker.

Judge Essex's decision terminated the investigation, which began at Tillotson's request in July 2007.
