My forthcoming article[1] in the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law argues for increasing the diversity of patent practitioners by increasing the number of patent agents.

Consider this a pipeline argument: Increasing the diversity of students in the fields of science, technology and engineering will necessarily result in greater diversity among patent agents and, accordingly, greater diversity among patent practitioners as a whole.
