Judge Tosses Hartford's CIT Suit Over Crawfish Bonds

Law360, New York (December 17, 2009, 3:47 PM EST) -- Dealing a defeat to The Hartford Fire Insurance Co., a judge has ruled that the U.S. Court of International Trade has no jurisdiction to declare unenforceable $270,000 worth of surety bonds connected to a Chinese company that was busted for evading crawfish duties.
