Sierra Club Pushes EPA To Rule On Wis. Power Plant

Law360, New York (December 17, 2009, 12:25 PM EST) -- The Sierra Club is seeking to compel the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to issue a final ruling on the environmental group's petition in objection to a Clean Air Act operating permit for a Green Bay, Wis., coal-fired power generating station.

In a complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, the Sierra Club alleges that its members have been directly harmed by air pollution from the Wisconsin Public Service Corp.'s J.P. Pulliam Generating Station while waiting for the EPA's response...
