Arbitration For Chicken Farmers, Koch Foods: 5th Circ.

Law360, New York (December 17, 2009, 3:44 PM EST) -- A breach of contract dispute brought by a group of poultry farmers against Koch Foods of Mississippi LLC is headed to arbitration after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit upheld a lower court decision to dismiss attempts by the farmers to render the mandatory arbitration clauses of the contracts at issue unenforceable.
