Unions Look To Overturn NLRB's Dana Corp. Ruling

Law360, New York (December 17, 2009, 3:14 PM EST) -- Several unions, including Service Workers United and United Steelworkers, have filed requests asking the National Labor Relations Board to rethink a landmark 2007 decision regarding decertification petitions.

SWU lodged its request regarding an agreement with Aramark Uniform and Career Apparel LLC Monday with the NLRB, and four other unions also recently filed petitions contesting the board's 2007 ruling in Dana Corp., according to the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation, a group representing employees in two of the cases.
