Monsanto Won't Contest Generic Seeds After IP Expires

Law360, New York (December 18, 2009, 3:19 PM EST) -- As Monsanto fields accusations of anti-competitive conduct related to its genetically modified seed products, the company has indicated in a letter to growers that it will not try to stop them from planting its popular version of genetically modified soybeans after the patent expires in 2014.
